Falling Slowly, but deeply through the clouds into the sea A sea of fool's dreams lover's quarrels, and heartbreaks I'm not alone There are many of us here The sad The lonely The souls of people grateful to be alive They thought they would sink drown swallow the ghastly waters that surround them But the further we swim we find that the water gets shallow we're only knee deep we can save ourselves Even though We never thought we could We thought We were stuck with memories and false hopes that would eventually kill us But we've survived we're still here Even if you aren't 2-26-98 | |||||||||||||||||||||||
